Five-Band Compression and Dynamics Control
The King 2 divides the signal into five bands labeled Low, Low Mid, Mid, Mid High and High. Each band has its own Threshold knob and Make-Up Gain knob, so you can shape the dynamics of each frequency range separately.
Upward and Downward Compression are two separate knobs on the interface. Adjusting either one increases or decreases that type of compression. Both default to 100 and can be set between 0 and 200. A Release Time knob sets the attack and release behavior for the upward and downward compression.
Input and Output Gain controls let you set how much signal enters the plugin and how much the processed sound pushes into the mix. The Overall Plug-In Mix knob blends the processed signal with the dry signal, which allows parallel compression.
