Transient and body control for punch and weight
The transient section boosts or reduces the attack of a sound and sets the length of the attack. The body section does the same for sustain and lets you set the timing of the sustain. Used together, they can emphasize a snare, tighten a boomy bass line or add weight to a thin-sounding instrument.
A tone control brightens or darkens the transients and the body separately, so you can adjust the character of the hit without changing its overall shape. Sensitivity sets whether the shaping focuses on strong hits or picks up subtler detail.
