01Overview

Imprint is built around transient shaping, which adds definition and punch to audio by emphasizing its attack. Its three frequency bands each have their own gain and mix controls, and the crossover points between them can be moved to target specific parts of a sound. A real-time waveform display helps you see the changes as you work. Over 20 factory presets cover bass, drums, vocals, mastering and effects, and you can save your own settings as user presets. Resizable interface and click-free bypass make it easy to compare the processed and unprocessed signal.

Three-Band Transient Control and Advanced Shaping

Imprint splits the signal into three frequency bands, so transients in different ranges can be boosted independently. The multiband graphic interface lets you set the crossover points and gain of each band directly.

Each band has a mix control that boosts the transient content in its frequency range. An advanced panel, opened from a triangular control below the mix controls, adds width, smooth, attack and release parameters. Width sets the peaks you want to target, smooth softens those peaks for a subtler effect, attack dampens transients, and release stretches the gain boost over time for a more extreme result.

Presets, Bypass and Workflow Features

The plugin ships with over 20 creative presets designed for bass, drums, vocals, mastering and FX. They are accessible from the plugin menu, and you can store your own settings alongside them.

The Imprint logo works as a whole-plugin bypass that is smoothed to be click and pop free, and each band also has its own bypass. Output level and master gain controls are included, and a full PDF manual and tutorial video are provided.
