The sample library is the core of the instrument. Bloom Vocal Edit contains 8 sample banks with 112 vocal samples in total, and each bank is dedicated to a different type of vocal element. Samples are synced to the host BPM, so phrases stay in time with your project.

You choose a key, select a bank or preset, and trigger one of 14 phrases spread across two octaves. White keys start vocal samples and loops, while black keys change playback speed and pitch and trigger sequences and effect modulation. The Phrase Player can sequence samples into more complex vocal patterns.

All factory samples are royalty-free, and you can import up to 112 of your own samples, which can be swapped at any time.

Four macro controls shape the sound in one move: Glue smooths out dynamics, Fuzz adds pedal-style distortion, Metallic adds a short slapback delay, and Width adds stereo width and ensemble-style effects. Five main FX parameters cover Bitcrush, Delay, Reverb, Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut.

The Edit page is where you tailor the samples. You can set start and end points, playback direction and speed, pitch, formant and envelope settings, and four choke groups. The Phrase Player offers Rate, Swing, Latch and Beat Retrigger controls for shaping sequences.
