VolumeShaper 7 gives the low, mid and high bands separate LFOs, so you can duck just the bass under a kick while leaving the rest of the mix alone. Each band has its own dry/wet mix, and bands can be soloed for easier setup.

The waveform editor supports flipping, resizing, moving and randomizing waves or selections, plus copy and paste between any Shapers. The 2x/3x button doubles or triples a pattern with one click, and selection skewing increases intensity over time. Unlimited undo and redo apply to LFO wave edits.

For timing, the LFO loop length can be set in beats and bars, from 1/128 to 32 bars, with sample-accurate sync. Audio-rate modulation reaches up to 5.24kHz for more extreme sound design.

Waves can be triggered by MIDI or by audio transients. With the External Sidechain Input enabled, audio triggering follows the rhythm of another track, such as a kick drum that is not on the beat grid of the bass you are ducking.

Trigger Smoothing reduces clicks when switching or triggering waves, and the new Smoothed Bypass switches to the dry signal without clicks. Master Mix blends the effect with the dry signal, and a Gain parameter boosts output for transient enhancement.

The interface can be resized from 75% to 200% and supports Retina/HiDPI displays, with a built-in help system that describes a control when you hover over it.
