Speed Modes and Band Split

The three speed modes cover the classic 2x half-speed effect, a 1.5x mode for perfect fifth harmonies and triplet rhythms, and a 4x mode for quad-time playback.

Band Split lets you slow only the bass, midrange or treble. This can produce deep bass movement from a lead line, or make midrange percussion feel heavier while the top end stays at its original speed. Band Solo lets you hear only the slowed range, which helps when you are shaping the effect or using it as a filter. The Dry/Wet Mix control blends the original and slowed signal.

Transient and Sustain Handling

The Smooth section offers two processing modes. Percussive mode keeps transient punch intact on drums and plucked sounds. Sustain mode avoids clicks and pops on held material. Creative FX and Swell options are available if you want to push the effect further.

The interface can be scaled from 75% to 200%, which suits both standard and high-resolution displays. Cableguys describes its down-pitching algorithms as low in CPU use with minimal aliasing.
