How the Envelope Looping Works
Kuvert lets you draw five envelopes, either freely or snapped to a grid. Each envelope controls a different effect parameter, and each one loops. The incoming audio does not loop, so the effect runs across your signal while the envelope pattern repeats.
The developer describes this as a way to alter sounds in a way that can become hard to recognize. Because the pattern repeats, it stays consistent with the groove of a looped part, which makes it practical for rhythmic processing.
