01Overview

ShaperBox 3 Bundle is built around the idea that any effect can be controlled by a wave shape you draw. Each Shaper, including Volume, Time, Drive, Filter, Crush, Pan, Width, Liquid, Reverb, Noise and Pitch, works as its own canvas for rhythmic motion and dynamic processing. The bundle adds Audio Triggering, which restarts an LFO with each transient, and an External Sidechain Input for triggering patterns from another track. Each effect can be split into three frequency bands.

Drawable Shaper Effects for Rhythm and Motion

Each Shaper in ShaperBox 3 Bundle lets you draw a wave shape and use it to drive an effect. Cableguys has refined its waveform editing, so angled breakpoints, curves and selections can be made with a pointer tool that uses simple left-click operation.

LFO patterns can sync to your song, or be triggered by the rhythm of drums, basslines or full mixes using the Audio mode. The new LiquidShaper combines flanging and phasing in one Shaper, with feedback and phasing stage options for different timbres.

Mixing Tools and Sidechain Control

The External Sidechain Input lets VolumeShaper duck a bass to a kick that is not on the grid, or trigger a bitcrush pattern on a synth when a snare hits. VolumeShaper's Show External Sidechain view overlays the sidechain signal so you can draw ducking curves that match its contour.

The multiband Compressor is now a separate tool that can be placed anywhere in a Shaper chain. The Master Mix control blends wet and dry signal, and a master Bypass button switches to the dry signal without clicks.
