Twine Bass: Hemp Twine Cello and Bolon Kontakt Instrument

Soundiron deep-sampled the strings with 10x round-robin and up to 14 velocity layers. The library also covers legato slides, string mutes, tuning peg plucks and twists, finger taps and brushes, and percussive sounds from the bolon's body.

The collection contains one master NKI instrument bank in open Kontakt format, 2,033 stereo samples recorded as 24-bit / 48 kHz uncompressed PCM WAV, and 2.45 GB installed. It also includes 30 ambience patches and 20 sound-designed FX and ambient presets.

The glissando and chord generator gives control over speed, range, scale, stroke direction, string dynamics and humanization. Glissando mode offers adjustable gliss speed, scale, time signature, direction and note duration, with per-note velocity control in real time or through a draw table. You can set up to 24 strings in this mode.

Chord mode includes auto-strum with up and down strokes or automatic alternation, plus control over strum tightness and timing variability. You can choose from 26 chords and 13 scales, set between 1 and 6 strings in strum mode, and use 16 assignable key-switches for chord selection. Multiple glissandos or chords can play at once with full polyphony.
