Level, Phase and Stereo Metering

SSL Meter provides dual True Peak and RMS meters, with max and current text readouts that show overloads and level changes. You can choose between several scales, including Non-Linear, Non-Linear 2x, Linear, Linear 2x, K-20, K-14 and K-12.

For stereo work, the plugin adds a Lissajous phase scope, a stereo balance bar and a phase correlation meter. Together these help you check how the left and right channels relate, which is useful when a mix needs to hold up in mono or on different playback systems.

The analogue VU and PPM meter styles are included for engineers who prefer the look and feel of traditional hardware metering. The VU reference level can be set to 0 VU Line Up, which matters when the meter sits in a critical digital to analogue path.

Frequency Analysis and Workflow

The 31-band Real-Time Analyser shows the frequency spectrum of an instrument or a full mix. You can read the exact frequency value of each band and adjust peak hold and averaging times to suit the material you are measuring.

The control panel lets you tailor the metering to your needs, and the plugin can be scaled from 50% to 200%, so it stays readable on a small laptop screen or a large monitor.
