Sound Design Controls and Modulation

Each instrument offers an adaptable LFO system with selectable shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo syncing and fade-in time. Twelve lowpass, highpass and FX filters are available, and their modulation can be assigned to sources such as velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and step-sequencer table control.

These controls make the library useful for building patches that move over time, from slow filter sweeps to rhythmic pulses locked to project tempo.

Arpeggiator and Key Scale Lock

The customizable arpeggiator provides a velocity table and control over arp direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration. A key and scale lock system constrains notes to common scales and keys, which helps with melodic writing and live performance.

Together, the arpeggiator and scale lock give producers a quick way to turn sustained pads and drones into musical, playable parts.

Samples and Format

The library contains 680 samples in 24-bit / 48kHz uncompressed PCM WAV format. The WAV files are unlocked, so they can be imported directly into most WAV-compatible plugins and DAWs, not only Kontakt.

The 21 .nki instrument presets require the full retail version of Kontakt 5.5.2 or later. The free Kontakt Player does not support this library.
