01Overview

SKYE Dynamics is built around three dynamics effects that can be used together or separately. Each processor can be bypassed, given its own side chain and automated, and gain staging can be placed at any point in the chain. A node-based interface shows the whole effects chain in one view, with metering that follows the processor you select. Sound, Envelopes and Adaptive Release

The developer says the dynamics algorithms are intended to keep processing clean and transparent, with exceptionally low levels of distortion and saturation. Each processor offers five envelope presets: Linear, Natural, Transparent, Smooth and Pumping. An advanced adaptive auto-release adjusts timing automatically, which can reduce the need to set release times by hand on every source.

Channel linking lets you tailor the input and output of the plugin, so the same settings can be shaped for both stereo and linked material.

Workflow and Interface Controls

The effects chain is configured from one view using a node-based interface. Dynamic range for metering and effects configuration can be scaled freely, which helps with precise adjustments on quiet or heavily compressed material. The window can be fully resized or switched to a compact view to save screen space.

Each effect in the chain has its own side chain and bypass, and all parameters can be automated, which makes it practical for both mixing and mastering sessions.
