Limiting Character and Gain Staging
The limiter uses Signum Audio's overshoot-proof brickwall algorithm, combined with linear phase upsampling for true peak control. Adaptive auto release and five selectable release curves let you shape how the limiter recovers.
Pre-Gain pushes or reduces the incoming signal before limiting, while Post-Gain is applied after limiting. An automatic Max Target function helps set the level. You can choose whether the display highlights the limiter output or the overall output with Post-Gain applied, which suits both maximizer-style and limit-then-make-up workflows.
