Creature Voices, Percussion and Sound Design Content

The voice-over banks cover screams, chokes, falls, get-hits, growls, breaths, jumps and laughs. Soundiron describes the creature set as suitable for many monster types, from zombies to face huggers. The human banks include several soldier grunt characters, civilians and an old wizard.

The bunker percussion bank contains 27 metal impact articulations, including artillery anchor clangs, steel bulkhead gongs, hatch hinge creaks and blast door booms. The developer recorded these at derelict bunker facilities, with bare hands and boots, placing microphones close to the impact point to capture the sustaining resonance.

The library also includes a chorus of creature voices, 13 chromatic creature sing and scream sustains, crowd cacophonies and recorded bunker soundscapes.

Kontakt Controls and Preset Structure

The Kontakt interface offers automation-ready controls for swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, coarse and fine pitch, articulation switching and cross-fading. The Voices of the Dead Orchestra preset places the percussion, sustaining creature choir, ambiences and environments in separate GUI tabs, so you can load only what a cue needs or layer several together.

The LFO system includes selectable shapes, targets, tempo sync and fade-in time. The library also includes an arpeggiator with a velocity table, a key and scale lock, a modular FX rack with 18 effect modules across 10 slots, and 99 convolution reverb impulse responses for rooms, halls, chambers and outdoor spaces.
