How Structural Split Shapes Sheen
Structural Split is the core of Sheen Machine. The plugin separates incoming audio into transient elements such as noise, pops, mic plosives, vocal sibilance and attacks, and tonal elements such as sustained notes, harmonics and ambience.
Each layer receives its own EQ curve. Because the transient content is handled separately, adding high-frequency sheen to the tonal layer does not boost the sharp, harsh parts of the signal in the same way a traditional high-shelf boost would.
