ShaperBox 3 Bundle Upgrade from TimeShaper 3 is a 64-bit effects plugin from Cableguys, built around eleven multiband effects called Shapers. Each one is controlled by a drawn waveform rather than fixed knobs, so you can design sweeps, angled ramps or stepped patterns that sync to your project. The upgrade is aimed at producers who already own TimeShaper 3 and want the newer ShaperBox 3 feature set without buying the full bundle.
The bundle includes Volume, Time, Drive, Filter, Crush, Noise, Pan, Width, Liquid, Reverb and Pitch Shapers. Each effect is controlled by a waveform you draw in a visual interface, which Cableguys says makes editing fast and direct.
The Shapers can sync to your song or be triggered by MIDI and audio. Cableguys describes the editing as simple left-click work, with tools for adding angled breakpoints and bending sections into curves.
Audio Triggering restarts the LFO on each transient, so the effect follows the rhythm of drums, basslines or full mixes. Three algorithms, Drums, General and Complex, are available, with access to the triggering parameters.
An External Sidechain Input lets one signal, such as a kick, drive the Shapers on another track. The Sidechain View overlays the kick on the bassline so you can draw a ducking curve that matches it.
The multiband Compressor is now a separate module that can be placed anywhere in a Shaper chain. An updated Master Mix algorithm blends dry and wet signal, and a master Bypass switches back to the dry signal without clicks.
LiquidShaper adds flanging and phasing with custom LFO shapes, with the number of phasing stages set to 4, 8, 12 or 16.
