Sound Layers and the XY Pad for Dystopian Textures

Bloodplant is built around 16 sound sources that you can blend and layer to create evolving soundscapes. The instrument is aimed at gritty, industrial textures for dark science fiction scoring.

The XY pad is the main control. It lets you move between textures, effects and sound layers in one gesture, which makes it practical for building movement in a pad or texture over time. Polyphonic aftertouch support gives you additional expressive control over parameters such as volume, tuning and motion.

Scales, Effects and the Scene Series

Effects presets include reverbs, delays and modulation, so you can shape the character of a layered sound without building the chain from scratch. An extensive selection of scales and modes helps keep melodic and harmonic material in key.

Bloodplant belongs to the Scene series. Native Instruments designed the series for media composers, with a simple interface and carefully designed presets for quickly blending and shaping sounds for on-screen moments.
