RX 12 Advanced is iZotope's top edition of its audio restoration software and is sold here as an upgrade for users who already own RX Elements or Elements Suite. It runs as a standalone editor and as plugins inside digital audio workstations. Restoration tools and new features in RX 12

RX 12 Advanced brings together more than 50 tools for editing and restoring audio. iZotope highlights several additions in this version. Scene Rebalance lets users adjust dialogue, music and effects levels separately, which is aimed at post production work when stems are not available.

Stems View splits audio into stems through Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate, so individual tools such as De-rustle or De-hum can be applied to one part of the mix. De-bleed and Breath Control have been rebuilt with neural networks, and a new Trim Silence module detects and removes audio gaps in long files.

Who RX 12 Advanced suits

The Advanced edition is positioned for post production and professional audio work. iZotope describes it as the complete version of the suite, above the RX 12 Standard and RX 12 Elements editions. Users who already own RX Elements or Elements Suite can buy it as an upgrade.
