New features in RX 12 Advanced

RX 12 introduces Scene Rebalance, which lets you independently adjust levels and make detailed edits to dialogue, music and effects in post production. Stems View splits audio into stems through Scene Rebalance, Music Rebalance and Dialogue Isolate, then applies RX tools to individual stems.

De-bleed and Breath Control have been rebuilt with neural networks, according to iZotope. De-bleed now includes a real-time plugin, and Trim Silence automatically detects and removes audio lulls in long files.

Workflow and interface

The interface has a larger Spectrogram, a new module search, and a resizable History panel. Repair Assistant offers a guided route to cleaning up sound quickly, while individual modules let you work with more manual control.

The suite covers over 50 tools for tasks such as background noise removal, dialogue intonation and vocal cleanup.
