Godfazer is an advanced modulation effect plugin from D16 Group that combines multiple modulation sources and filter types in one unit. It covers chorus, phasing, filtering and rotary speaker effects in VST3, VST2, AU, AAX and Standalone formats.
Godfazer is built around flexible signal routing and a broad set of modulation tools. Its Ensemble module handles delay- and amplitude-modulating effects, while two Multi Filter modules offer a large selection of filter and phaser types. Two modulation blocks drive both filters, with constant offset, LFO, envelope follower and step sequencer options. The plugin is aimed at producers who want to reshape sound through movement, from subtle motion to heavily animated textures.
The Ensemble module includes 22 effect types, from choruses and rotary speaker emulations to tremolo and auto-panning effects. Many models offer adjustable speed and depth.
Each of the two Multi Filter modules offers 40 filter types, including resonant filters, vowel filters, EQs and phasers. Cutoff or center frequency and emphasis are adjustable for each model, and a balance control with optional Mid/Side mode lets you shape the blend.
Two modulation blocks drive both Multi Filters. The Constant modifier sets independent offsets for left and right channels. The LFO offers six waveforms, stereo phase adjustment and optional tempo sync. The peak follower responds to input amplitude with attack, decay and sensitivity controls. The 16-step sequencer can run at an adjustable rate, with optional tempo sync.
Six topology options set whether the Multi Filters run in parallel or in series, and they also determine where the Ensemble sits in the chain. MIDI Learn helps with controller assignment.
