Convolution Reverb With Adjustable Decay and Room Size
NUGEN Audio describes Paragon as a true convolution reverb that can be reshaped beyond the original impulse response. Re-synthesis lets you set the decay and room size significantly longer, larger, shorter or smaller than the source space. The developer says this is done without time-stretching or sample removal, so it avoids the artefacts that those methods can introduce.
The IR panel provides spectral analysis and EQ for the impulse responses themselves. You can also change the frequency-dependent decay rate, which shapes the brightness and tone of the reverb. This means a small set of recorded spaces can cover many configurations instead of storing a separate impulse response for each one.
