01Overview

MReverbMB is a reverb plugin from MeldaProduction built around independent processing bands. Instead of separate plate, hall and room algorithms, it uses one algorithmic engine with a large set of parameters, which you can shape to emulate a wide range of reverb characters. Multiband Reverb Design and Sound Shaping

MReverbMB divides the signal into up to six fully configurable bands, built on three crossover algorithms: analog, linear-phase and hybrid. Each band has adjustable limits and input gains, and peak meters are included for every band and the master. A fully adjustable 3-band equalizer shapes the reverberation signal itself, and each EQ band offers seven filter types with harmonic control.

The developer describes the reverb as capable of everything from small rooms to very large halls with long tails. Tube saturation adds a vintage analog character to the output.

Workflow, Spatial Positioning and Modulation

The default interface offers predefined modes and a few knobs for quick results. The advanced mode provides the full set of controls. A spatial positioning view lets you drag the sound source, and the plugin sets the required parameters to place it within the specified room and position.

Up to four global modulators can target any parameter, including other modulators. Each can work as an LFO, follower, MIDI or audio triggered ADSR envelope, pitch detector, or a combination. Full randomization generates new settings with one click, and holding Ctrl makes only slight changes to the existing settings. Tempo sync and MIDI learn are available, and every parameter is automatable.
