Sound, Recordings and Playing Styles

UVI says every sound was recorded and edited to support a natural sense of realism and playability. Each instrument can be played in different styles, and the collection offers both solo and ensemble versions of strings, winds, brass and choirs.

Articulations are accessible from the keyboard or directly from the panel, and key switching lets you change articulations without leaving the performance. The developer describes the dynamics as nuanced and the tone as immediate.

Engine, Controls and the Composer Instrument

The suite runs on a single engine shared by all of its instruments, with an interface tailored to each one. Per-instrument controls include gain, pan, pitch, ADSR envelope shaping and dual LFOs, along with macro controls for Color, Dynamic, True Range, Reverb and Delay.

The Composer instrument is built for chord-based writing. It offers five sectional layers and eight chord slots with full voicings under a single key, so you can sketch a progression or a string-and-horn passage quickly before refining it.
