Sound Character and Modulation with X-Modifiers
The OB-X emulation centers on the classic polysynth voice, with a vintage knob that adds subtle analog imperfections to the sound. The developer also extends the original architecture with new LFO options, including intro, retrigger, phase and smoothing controls, and a level destination for the LFO. Separate PWM1 and PWM2 controls are included.
The main addition is X-Modifier technology. The developer says dedicated LFOs and ADSRs are available for almost all parameters, and that the X-LFO and X-ADSR sections are already routed, so you do not have to build modulation paths manually. This is useful when you want evolving pads or complex movement without a long setup process.
