01Overview

Neutron 5 Update is the upgrade path for producers already running an earlier edition of Neutron. It brings the Neutron 5 suite into your existing setup, with 11 plugins in total: a mothership plugin and 10 components you can use on their own or chain together inside the mothership. The new modules focus on peak control, upward compression, and phase correction, while the refreshed Mix Assistant and visualizations aim to speed up decisions across a mix.

New modules for peak control, density and phase

The new Clipper module adds power while reclaiming headroom, with multiband options, oversampling and channel modes. The Density module performs intelligent upward compression to give audio more presence, detail and fullness. The Phase module fixes asymmetrical waveforms and out-of-sync signals.

Mid/side and transient/sustain channel modes are available across the suite, so you can apply Neutron modules to the specific content that needs processing.

Mix Assistant, Delta buttons and workflow tools

Mix Assistant is powered by machine learning and sets a custom signal chain for your audio, which you can refine with additional macro knobs in the Assistant View. Delta buttons in every module let you hear exactly how Neutron is affecting your mix.

Balance Assistant can set levels automatically using Relay on individual tracks and Visual Mixer on the master channel. Target Library tone matching lets you match the tone of a track to a sample or stem in real time.
