Neutron 5: Intelligent Mixing Suite by iZotope

The Clipper module adds multiband options, oversampling and channel modes for controlling peaks and recovering headroom. Density applies intelligent upward compression to add presence, detail and fullness to a signal.

Phase analyzes a track and corrects asymmetrical waveforms and out-of-sync signals, with visualizations for fine-tuning. Mid/side and transient/sustain channel modes are available across the suite, so each module can process only the content you select.

Delta buttons in every module let you hear the effect of the processing as you adjust it.

Mix Assistant uses machine learning to set a signal chain for the audio you load, and its Assistant View adds macro knobs for quicker adjustments. Neutron 5 also includes a Target Library for matching the tone of a track to a sample or stem in real time.

Balance Assistant sets levels automatically using Relay on individual tracks and Visual Mixer on the master channel. Tonal Balance Control 2 meters your mix against tonal balance targets built from professional mixes. The developer also notes 7.1 surround support and a zero-latency mode in all seven modules.
