Nectar 4 Advanced Upgrade extends the Nectar 4 vocal processing toolkit for producers who already own Nectar 4 Elements or Elements Suite. The upgrade adds a set of vocal-focused modules for leveling, harmonizing, creating background singers and shaping the mix around a lead vocal. Vocal Mixing Tools and Workflow

Vocal Assistant offers a single interface for quick decisions on EQ, intensity and width, and it can match the tone of a custom reference track. The Auto-Level Module sits at the start of the signal chain to manage vocal levels before processing, with a Tame Noise option that separates sung and unsung content.

The Dynamic EQ with Follow EQ Mode tracks and reduces resonances in real time. Inter-plugin communication lets Nectar 4 coordinate with other iZotope plug-ins in the session to address tonal balance and masking.

Vocal Layers and Background Singers

The Voices Module generates auto-harmonies from a selection of 11 styles, with MIDI mode for control over which notes are sung and an editor for voice count and chords. The Backer Module creates background singers in eight styles and can also use an imported acapella.

These tools suit producers who build vocal stacks, demos and ad-lib layers inside their DAW.
