01Overview

MiniBrute V is built around the sound of the original MiniBrute monosynth, extended with adjustable polyphony so it can play chords and layered textures. Sound Character and Synthesis Engine

The oscillator section pairs a Voltage Controlled Oscillator with a sub oscillator, giving bass and lead patches a solid low end. The Steiner-Parker multimode filter is the core of the tonal shaping, and the Brute Factor adds saturation and rich harmonics to the signal.

For thicker sounds, the Ultrasaw mode produces shimmering sawtooth waveforms, while the Metalizer adds extreme triangle harmonics for metallic and aggressive timbres.

Modulation, Arpeggiator and Workflow

LFO1 offers six waveforms with bi-polar modulation destinations, and LFO2 provides three vibrato modes. Two ADSR envelope generators handle amplitude and filter movement.

The arpeggiator offers four modes, a four-octave range, eight time divisions including straight, triplet and dotted settings, and swing control. Synths with 8 voices of polyphony can play chords as well as monophonic lines.
