01Overview

Linda IronVerb is an effects plugin from Audified, built with mixing and mastering engineer Martin Linda. It covers reverb needs from short, subtle ambience to long, atmospheric decays. The defining feature is Ironize modulation, which adds a smooth, glossy iron-like quality to the tail. A modulation section can blend vibrato or chorus into the reverb, giving it a more synthy feel. The interface is kept straightforward.

Sound Character and Modes

The Ironize control sets how much iron-like modulation is applied to the reverb. Low settings can color a conventional reverb subtly, while higher settings suit pads, atmospheres and ambient soundscapes.

IronVerb offers six modes built on original algorithms. Flutter adds a periodic warbling effect. Plate draws on vintage studio plates. Slapback has a slower attack that produces an echo-like sound. Dense gives a narrow, high-density space with a sharp sound. Steel and Steel2 simulate a steel barrel, with Steel2 using a slower attack for a different vibe.

Shaping Space, Damping and Filtering

Pre-Delay sets the time before the first reflections, up to 500 ms. Feedback controls the number and length of reflections, from short echo-like repeats to long decay trails.

Damp Amt simulates high-frequency absorption by reflective surfaces and can darken or brighten the tail. Damp Freq selects a damping frequency from 100 Hz to 15 kHz. Resonance shapes the mid-frequency response around the damping filter.

Size sets how large the reverb sounds, and Width expands the image from mono to full stereo. A Hi-Pass filter from 20 Hz to 1 kHz keeps low-frequency rumble and buildup out of the reverb, and Wet/Dry sets the blend with the clean signal.
