One-Knob Saturation for Vocals, Guitars, Bass and Drums
Audified positions the plugin as a tool for adding color and presence to a track. On vocals, the developer suggests placing it after equalization and dynamic processing, but before spatial and modulation effects, then turning the knob until the sound is right.
For guitars, Audified suggests knob positions from 25 to 50 percent as a starting range. On bass, the developer says saturation can help the instrument cut through a mix and connect with the kick drum. On a drum group or full mix bus, it can add clarity and punch to the snare and overheads.
