How Haaze 2 Shapes Stereo Width Across Frequency Bands
Haaze 2 splits the signal into 16 independent frequency bands. Each band has its own controls, so you can treat low, mid and high content differently. For example, you can keep the lower frequencies more focused in the center while letting the higher frequencies spread wider.
The plugin offers three main approaches per band. The Haas control delays the left or right channel, which makes the listener perceive the sound arriving from the side that reaches the ear first. The Pan (Split EQ) mode pans each band between left and right, and the M/S control sets the width of each band.
A Gain control compensates the level on each band after processing, and a draw mode lets you sketch the adjustment curve you want instead of setting each band by hand.
