Electric Piano Tone and Character
Tines is built around an electric piano voice with a set of effects that shape its character. Wobble Depth and Wobble Speed control a tremolo that moves each note's volume over time, so individual notes vibrate rather than the whole sound. Phase controls the phase offset between the left and right output channels, which widens the stereo image and adds movement.
The multiband distortion panel adds grit when you want the sound to bite. Klevgrand says the instrument can range from a dreamy, classic-style electric piano to a harsher, Wurlitzer-like tone. The developer notes it is not meant to be a vintage recreation, so it suits producers who want a contemporary electric piano sound.
