Sound Shaping With Wavetables, Grain and Wobble
The wave selector lets you choose two waveforms and morph between them with a single slider, giving you a path from one timbre to another across the sustain of a pad.
The grain control adds noise to the signal. Dragging horizontally adds white noise, and dragging upward adds more irregular noise and grain. The grain layer is sampled from a real Hammond organ with a broken tone wheel, which gives the texture a gritty, imperfect character.
The wobble control adds analogue-style unpredictability through slight detuning and filter inaccuracy. Used with restraint, it keeps long pads from sounding sterile.
