Waveform Shaping and Multiband Processing

The core of MWaveShaperMB is its oscillator shape system. Each oscillator is defined by a mix of predefined shapes, custom waveforms edited with the MeldaProduction Envelope System (MES), a step sequencer, and several algorithmic post-processing methods. The result is a continuously adjustable shape rather than a fixed waveshaper curve.

Processing can be divided into 1-6 fully configurable bands. Each band has adjustable limits and input gains, and the crossover can be set to analog, linear-phase or hybrid behavior, so you can choose the trade-off that suits the material.

Modulation, Sync and Workflow

Four global modulators can be active per instance. Each can work as an LFO, an envelope follower, a MIDI- or audio-triggered ADSR, a pitch detector, or a combination, and they can modulate any set of parameters, including other modulators. Oscillators and modulators can sync to host tempo, and any parameter can be mapped to a MIDI controller with MIDI learn.

Adjustable up-sampling from 1x to 16x is available to reduce aliasing. The interface is resizable and stylable, and presets can be saved globally and shared through the developer's online preset exchange if that feature is enabled.
