Oscillator Shaping and Envelope Control
Each oscillator has an XY pad. On the carrier, the X-axis controls pulse width modulation and the Y-axis controls the wave shape, moving between sine and square.
The modulator pad works the same way and adds a frequency multiplier button, which lets you set the modulator's pitch relationship to the carrier.
Each oscillator has its own ADSR. The modulator's envelope is set relative to the carrier's: when all of its sliders sit at the midpoint, the modulator follows the carrier envelope exactly. Velocity can modulate the FM feedback, filter, attack and volume, so how you play the keys changes the timbre as well as the loudness.
