Sound Character and Voice Architecture
Jup-8 V is built around 16-oscillator polyphony, with free-running phase oscillators. Each voice has two VCOs with their own characters, offering fine-tuning, a noise waveform, octave ranges and switchable sync. VCO cross modulation and pulse-width modulation are available for metallic and sweeping timbres.
Voice Dispersion provides four modes that add the small voltage variations that give analog hardware its character. Classic and Mono unison modes are included, and two dual filter types give you a resonant low-pass VCF alongside a separate high-pass filter.
