01Overview

MicroPitch is an effects plugin from Eventide built around two pitch-shifted voices, each with its own delay. One voice shifts down toward -50 cents and the other up toward +50 cents, so small detunings can thicken a source or spread it across the stereo field. Longer delay times turn the same engine into slapback effects. Sound Shaping With Two Pitch-Shifted Voices

The core of MicroPitch is a pair of pitch-shifting voices. Each voice can delay its signal by up to 2 seconds, which lets you move from subtle doubling to clearly separated echoes. TONE fine-tunes the voices so they sit more naturally in a mix, and PITCH MIX sets the balance between the two shifted, delayed signals.

MOD DEPTH and RATE add a chorusing motion to each voice, while FEEDBACK pushes the effect toward pitch dive and pitch rise sounds. Tempo sync is available for rhythmic delay patterns.

Real-Time Control With the Ribbon and MixLock

The RIBBON lets you move between two different settings in real time, such as morphing from a sweetening shift into a delay throw and back. For desktop use, the developer notes that a MIDI keyboard's mod wheel can control the RIBBON for hands-on performance.
