Sound Design: Morphing Oscillator and Filter
The morph oscillator is the centerpiece of Go2-X. You select a First and Second Waveform (Wave-A and Wave-B) and choose how they combine, with morph modes including Mix, Morph, Partial Morph variants, Table Interpolate, Table Split, Table Combine, FM, PM, AM, Ring Mod, WaveShaper and Range. A Spread control creates a stacked two-oscillator sound, and a symmetry control with its own modulation LFO lets the waveform shape change over time.
The main filter is analog-modeled and offers two comb filter types and ring modulation. Cutoff can be modulated by velocity, key tracking, the modulation wheel or the filter envelope. An additional high-pass filter sits behind the main filter, with its own cutoff, resonance and keyboard tracking controls.
