Sound Sources and Filtering for FX Design

SynFeX draws its sounds from several sources: plain noise, tuned noise, synced noise, analog-modeled oscillators and sample-based synthesis with granular options. The filter section offers 32 filter types, including formant, comb, ring mod and AMP mod, with extensive modulation controls.

The sample editor supports WAV and AIFF files, drag-and-drop loading, several play modes, looping and waveform editing. Together with granular processing, this lets you turn recorded material into risers, impacts and textures.

Movement Control, Ribbon Controller and FX Chain

The movement section acts as either an envelope or an LFO with independent voice control, multiple movement modes, modulation destinations and speed options. Four extra modulation slots route MIDI, internal sources and FX parameters.

The ribbon controller provides BiPolar and UniPolar modes, a spring-back feature and quantized return steps for dynamic sweeps. The FX section includes Lo-Fi distortion, multi-mode modulation FX, stereo delay and RP-VERB reverb with customizable routing.
