AIR and Mono/Stereo Controls for Master Bus Processing
The AIR section works as a booster of very high frequencies with a wide bandwidth. Its Amount control sets how much air is added to the channel, and its Frequency control sets the center frequency of the AIR band, with a range from 30 kHz to 40 kHz. Each section can be switched on or off separately, so you can bypass AIR while keeping Mono/Stereo active.
The Mono/Stereo split filter divides the signal into a mono and a stereo part based on a frequency. Below the set frequency, the sound is turned into mono. The Solo switch lets only the mono part pass, which helps you find the correct range. The Mode setting chooses how the stereo signal is converted to mono: left channel, right channel, the averaged sum (L+R), or the difference between channels (L-R).
