01Overview

Filterbank routes two independent State Variable Filters in parallel, serial or anywhere in between, each with lowpass, bandpass and highpass modes. Its modulation section adds LFO, ADSR and AR envelopes, triggered by audio, sidechain input or MIDI. Four distortion modes, thermal drift simulation and 4x oversampling round out the processing chain, making it a fit for sound design, filter sweeps and live filtering.

Dual Filter Architecture and Sound Shaping

Each of Filterbank's two filters is a State Variable Filter with lowpass, bandpass and highpass modes. Moog-inspired resonance feedback adds character at high resonance settings, and LBH and BLH correction controls let you blend the filter outputs precisely.

A 12-position Harmonics switch can lock Filter 2 to musical intervals relative to Filter 1, which suits harmonically related dual-filter textures. Switch to Free mode for fully independent control of the two filters.

Modulation, Distortion and MIDI Control

The modulation system includes an LFO with sine and sawtooth waveforms that can sync to DAW tempo divisions, a full ADSR envelope, an AR amplitude envelope and an envelope follower mode. Trigger sources include audio threshold, sidechain input and MIDI.

Four distortion modes (Clean, Warm, Crunch and Edge) sit in the signal path for everything from gentle saturation to heavy grit. MIDI note mapping lets you trigger, gate, block and unblock the AR and ADSR envelopes for sequenced modulation.
