IK Multimedia presents the set as 72 Tone Models covering six ENGL amplifiers, including amp-only captures alongside amp-plus-cabinet and complex rig models. ENGL Amp Tones and Tone Model Types

The collection covers six ENGL amps: the Fireball 60, Powerball MK1, Invader 100, Savage 120 MK1, Savage 60 MK1 and ENGL Straight. Each amp has its own set of Tone Models, with the Fireball 60, Powerball MK1, Invader 100, Savage 120 MK1 and Savage 60 MK1 each carrying 12 to 14 models, and the Straight carrying 10.

The set includes Amp, Amp + Cab, and Complex Rig Tone Models. Amp-only captures give you the option to pair the tone with your own cabinet or impulse responses.

IK Multimedia describes the Invader 100 as having four captured channels, ranging from clean to high gain.

Cabinets, Microphones and Recording Approach

According to the developer, the cabinets used in the captures include the E212VB, E212 VHB, E412 Vintage, E412VSB Pro, E412 XXL and E412 XXL B, selected to suit each amp's tonal character.

The recordings used several microphones, including the Shure SM57, Sennheiser MD421, AKG C414, Royer R121, Audix i5 and Sennheiser MD441, often in multi-microphone setups.

The developer also notes that the amp-only recordings support reamping and DI blending.
