Electric Keys: FM Electric Piano Synth Plugin by Karanyi Sounds

Karanyi Sounds positions Electric Keys as a tool for neo-80s production. The plugin draws on four sound sources from an FM synthesizer, and its three layers let you blend them for a fuller or more textured result. Factory presets include the Los Angeles Electric Piano sound, giving you a starting point in the classic style.

Each layer offers volume, fine tune, octave and tone EQ controls, so you can adjust pitch and brightness per source. The tremolo and wow modulators add movement to the tone.

The effect rack includes Vapor Dimension MK2, which offers 10 DSP algorithms, and Ethos, which offers 20 reverb algorithms. Both effects come with presets for quick setup, dry/wet knobs for blending, and in/out gain for each effect.

The Smart Randomizer can assign random instrument sources, random sound control settings, and random settings for the two effect modules. A Surprise option randomizes everything at once, which is useful for generating new starting points.
