Minipol is a 6-voice virtual analogue synth built around a compact set of controls. Karanyi Sounds describes it as a tool for recreating classic analogue keys and 80s-style basses, as well as designing pads, plucks and soundscapes. Sound Engine and Core Controls

Minipol uses four virtual analogue oscillator models based on classic synth hardware. Each oscillator has its own detune, octave and pan controls. A noise oscillator and a sub-oscillator add texture and low end. The sub-oscillator is sample-based and drawn from a Sequential OB-6.

The filter is a multimode design offering high-pass, band-pass and low-pass modes, also based on classic hardware. Envelopes and modulation sit alongside the sound generators, keeping the signal path easy to follow.

Effects, Presets and Smart Random Workflow

The plugin includes five stereo effects: the multimode filter, delay with mono and stereo presets, a chorus that can also work as a phaser or flanger, a three-band EQ, and 70 reverb presets sampled from hardware units by TC, Lexicon, Quantec and Eventide. Filter, gain LFO and delay effects can sync to the host tempo, and a tape-style wow control is included.

The Factory Library contains 300 presets for electronic music, scoring and other uses. The Smart Random Bar randomizes groups of controls, sections or the whole instrument, with 47 randomizable controls in total.
