Dist TUBE-CULTURE is an Arturia effects plugin built around the sound of vacuum tubes. Tube Configurations, Drive and Bias

The plugin offers four tube configurations: Triode 1, Pentode 1, Pentode 2 and Pentode 3. Each changes how the distortion responds, so you can pick the flavor that suits the source.

Drive sets how hard the signal is pushed into the tube stage. Bias adjusts the operating point, which shapes the character of the distortion. A 2-mode Presence switch adds a further tonal option, and an analog ammeter gives a visual reference that switches to digital when Advanced controls are in use.

The input and output filters module includes a Tilt EQ, and the Dynamics control adds gate or compression to the incoming signal.

Stereo Modes, Dry/Wet and Oversampling

A stereo mode selector offers L-R, Mid and Side processing, which lets you target the distortion to specific parts of a stereo image. The added Dry/Wet control supports parallel processing, so you can blend the saturated signal with the original.

Two oversampling modes trade off between audio quality and CPU usage. An A/B comparison function helps you check changes against your previous settings.
