Sound Library and Presets

Crystal contains 692 samples and 737 MB of installed content, saved as 24-bit, 48kHz uncompressed stereo WAV files. The percussion is organized into 88 kicks, 113 snares, 72 toms and 51 splashes, crashes and clicks, each in two style categories. The library also includes 131 strikes, stingers and stabs in four style categories and 219 acoustic glass multisamples covering taps, clinks, clangs and rattles.

There are 8 Kontakt instrument presets with selectable articulations, filter, vibrato and ring modulation, and 19 prebuilt percussion kits. Eighteen ambient and tonal pad presets add atmospheric material for scoring and textural layering.

Arpeggiator, Reverb and Effects

Crystal includes a multi-mode arpeggiator with a step sequencer for building rhythmic patterns from the glass sounds. Attack, release, transient offset, filter type and resonant filter sweep give direct control over each sound's shape.

The convolution reverb offers 70 impulses of cathedrals, churches, chambers, rooms, halls and special effect spaces. A full multi-effects rack adds EQ, filter, phaser, flanger, delay, distortion and amp and speaker simulation.
