Drive takes the sound from a shallow, subtle boost to deep overdrive distortion. Grit and Sustain push the signal further into fuzz territory, and Grit can also be used for low-end, chugging tones.

The three-band EQ lets you shape the tone after the distortion stage, and the Gate can tame an aggressive output or, with a high threshold and a lower Mix setting, create a parallel gated crunch.

Mix blends the processed and dry signals, which is useful for parallel compression or distortion. Octave Mix adds higher and lower octaves that you can crush together with Drive and Sustain to build dense new textures.

The Ribbon lets you morph between two settings in real time, so you can sweep from a dark, gritty EQ setting to a heavier wall of sound with compression, Sag and octaves. On desktop, a MIDI keyboard's mod wheel can control the Ribbon for more tactile sweeps.

HotSwitch flips between two distinct settings within the same preset at the push of a button. MixLock keeps the Mix control constant while you audition presets, so you can compare sounds at the same wet/dry balance.
