Sound Character and Sample Content
The library covers sustains, releases and key up and key down sound effects for both the Clavinet and the Pianet. Samples are recorded in wide stereo and include a direct line-in option, so you can choose between the room-like character of the stereo recordings and a cleaner signal. Soundiron sampled all 60 keys with four velocity layers and four round robins per note, which gives the instrument variation when played with dynamics and repeated notes. The release volume and the amount of key attack click can be adjusted with the recorded key up and key down sounds.
The samples are 24 bit / 48 kHz uncompressed PCM WAV files, and the full library installs at 13.2 GB. Soundiron describes the instrument as suited to a wide range of genres, from psychedelic rock to experimental classical.
