Sound Sources and Sample Library

The instrument's 112 percussion samples and eight sample banks cover light percussive tablas and dhols, large drum circles, bansuri flute loops and one-shots, and strummed and stringed instruments including sitars, rababs and ouds. A set of expressive vocal loops is also included.

The developer says the recordings were captured across India and the wider South Asian region. All samples that ship with Bloom KSHMR are royalty-free.

Sequencer, Edit Page and Effects

The Bloom Sequencer is built for triggering and layering one-shots and looping sequences rather than working like a traditional step sequencer. Samples sync to host BPM, and you can apply key selection and sample randomise.

The Edit page provides playback direction (forwards, backwards, pendulum, loop), playback modes (hold, latch, relative), four choke groups, and pitch, formant and pitch warp controls. Five main FX parameters (Noise, Reverb, Dynamics, Lo-Cut and Hi-Cut) and four macros (Lo-Fi, Tube, Width and Space) shape the sound.
