The instrument's 250 presets are organized into seven categories: Drones, Experimental, Full Ensembles, Melodic, Rhythmic, Solo and Textures. Drones hold long, sustained string notes. Rhythmic presets use staccato, spiccato and pizzicato articulations for motion. Solo presets isolate a single double bass, cello, viola or violin.

Melodic presets pitch a sample across two octaves to build melodies, while Experimental and Textures presets focus on sound design and background beds. The developer describes the set as covering both classical-style ensembles and abstract material.

The Main Page offers eight sample banks with 112 samples, mapped across 14 keys. White keys trigger individual sounds and launch phrases, while black keys handle modifiers such as half-time, double-time, reverse and octave shifts. Samples can be synced to host BPM, and four macros (Drive, Stereo, Chamber and Vinyl) shape the sound quickly.
